Christer & Wander
This is a wedding I almost missed, and it was pure luck that I connected with Christer and Wander in time. On Sunday, May 25, 2024, I received an email asking if I was available to photograph a wedding on June 1. Initially, I thought it was an inquiry for a wedding in 2025, but to my surprise, the date was just a week away!
I am incredibly grateful that our paths crossed because this wedding turned out to be nothing short of magical. It was filled with beautiful moments, incredible people, and a unique blend of traditions and languages that made the day truly special. From the heartfelt vows to the laughter shared between friends and family, every moment was a testament to the love and connection between Christer and Wander.
One of the most memorable highlights was when Wander arrived in a traditional Norwegian bunad. Just like Christer, I was absolutely stunned. The mix of cultural elements added a deeply personal touch to the celebration, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and enchanting.
Weddings like this remind me why I love what I do. Capturing the essence of two people coming together, blending their histories and traditions into one day, is a privilege I never take for granted. I feel incredibly lucky to have been a part of Christer and Wander’s special day, documenting the joy, the tears, and every little detail that made their wedding unique.
It was a beautiful celebration of love, filled with so much warmth and joy. I’m thankful for the serendipity that brought us together and for the opportunity to witness such a heartfelt occasion. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend that day, and I will always cherish the memories of this incredible wedding.
